If you’ve been looking for a way to help victims of the Waldo Canyon Fire, it’s time to put on your dancing shoes.
The Castle Rock Recreation Center will host a special two-hour Zumba class from 5:15 to 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 10.
Zumba class to raise money for those impacted by Waldo Canyon Fire
This special, longer class will be open to all at no cost. Admission will be a free-will cash or check donation to the American Red Cross.
“The Waldo Canyon Fire has impacted our family, friends, neighbors and coworkers,” said Fitness/Wellness coordinator Lori Dempsey. “We wanted a simple and fun way to help.”
Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. This is a low-impact class for all fitness levels. For this class,the routine will be different throughout the two hours.
